Why MSISS?

Over the twentyfive years since the MSISS programme was launched, many other Universities have started to develop similar programmes of their own. The reasons are not hard to see. The cross-disciplinary training which is central to such courses reflects the needs of the workplace of today and of the future - a workplace that demands flexibility, interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to a wide range of challenges. Recent graduates have found employment with companies such as Andersen Consulting, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, GE, EDS, Morgan Stanley, Intel, Ericsson, AIB Bank, the Bank of Ireland and Nortel.

MSISS is a challenging and exciting course. It is a course in which considerable individual attention is given to students, particularly in their third and fourth years. Its primary objective is to develop confident, well equipped graduates, capable of tackling a wide range of business problems and communicating their solutions effectively. It is a course which adapts, and will continue to adapt, to meet the needs of tomorrow's world of work.

MSISS is a course for people who like problem solving, challenge and variety.
